This is the place to discuss Super Mario Maker and, most importantly, share your levels!

The only stage I have uploaded currently is "Bouncy Fireballs," DB41-0000-0024-253C. I was trying to think outside the box in terms of level design, but I may have made it too frustrating. It doesn't help that I made it before they added checkpoints, so every time you die you have to start over.

I wasn't aware of the checkpoint availability until I made my third stage. Anyways, I'll carry what I've done over to this thread:

On The Rebound - 9C5F 0000 0281 EFEB
The Coin Brick Road - 49F8 0000 0281 1F41
Bouncy Castle - CB89 0000 0284 B837

J.C, I played all of your stages! Quite nice, I like the multiple paths you have going on in "Bouncy Castle" and "On the Rebound," and hiding the P switches in sculpted masses of coins in "The Coin Brick Road" is a nice touch. Plus, it's just therapeutic to mow down huge swaths of piranha plants.

Thank you!

Coin Brick Road was my first one, and I suspect you're one of the few people who found those hidden P switches, given the completion rate on a relatively (IMO) easy level. It's not like I wasn't being fair about it.

The person who set the world record on On The Rebound clearly raced through it, without powering up, and found that shortcut to the end. And I love using turtle shells to mow down enemies, which is why I did it in two levels.

I should've added a few more power-ups in Bouncy Castle, because if people have to re-start at one of the checkpoints, they're in pretty tough. Did you find the key and its respective locked door?

Will play your level shortly.

ETA: I think they deleted your level. You know, to make room for more Unplayable Anime Art.
ETA2: Scratch that. The last four digits of your level are 253C.

I found maybe the best level ever.

That's me, I think I have the world records on all of your levels. I played through the rest of the level before that, though.

Yup.

Oh, I know you're the new record holder(s)...I was speaking about the previous person...the first one to beat On The Rebound. I put the opening above that pipe, with all the bricks (coins), on the right side to make it somewhat of a close call, but evidently not close enough!

I left a message on your stage...very little room for error there.

I recommend any levels by Andre GX. They're typically remakes of levels from Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie, etc.

Check some of these out! They're cool, I promise.

Yeah, it's a bit too harrowing. Actually, I don't think I've ever had the patience to beat it more than once.

When I'm designing a level, replay value is my primary concern. Challenge is secondary.

Been working on a Super Mario World Ghost House level for the past few nights. As I'm implementing a key (or perhaps two), I've got to be reeeeaallly careful where I place my checkpoints and locked doors. Anyways, it's about 85% done, but I've got to start adding more enemies to make it a bit more difficult, and perhaps some sound effects to create more audio-visual variation.

Yes, I'm using some domino-effect turtle shells again. I can't help myself.

Wish I could create a Giant Ghost boss, but that does not appear to be available. And it pisses me off that you need to buy a limited-edition Amiibo to access Giant Mario.

Wasn't nearly as impressed with that person's stages as some folks seem to be.

In case you missed this post, Zarnium. I'd be curious to see if you can set the new record.

Really? What about the one at the bottom of the list? I believe it's called Tile Swap Tower or something. It's made by someone else.

That level, if I recall correctly, did the whole cut-and-paste thing for each section of the level, with only mild alterations. I found it kind of tedious and obtuse. But don't hold me to that, as I've played a fair number of levels from different people, and many of them are starting to run together in my head.
